It's a real AI segmentation model (U2-Net) that runs entirely on your device using WebAssembly — the same underlying technology used by professional background-removal tools, just processed locally instead of on a server.

Why does the first use take longer than your other tools?

The AI model (about 19MB) needs to download once when you first use this tool. After that, your browser caches it, so future visits are much faster.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

Does this work well on all types of photos?
