About EPUB to PDF Converter

Read your EPUB ebook as a PDF, print it, or send it to a device that does not open EPUB files. Drop in a DRM-free .epub file, choose the page size, font style and text size, and download a PDF with real, selectable text. The book is converted in your browser and never uploaded.

The converter follows the book’s reading order, starts every chapter on a new page and keeps headings, paragraphs, bold and italic, lists, block quotes, code blocks, tables, links and images (including the cover when it is part of the book). Because you choose the text size and margins, it is easy to make a large-print PDF for easier reading or a compact one that saves paper. Optional page numbers help when you print.

Limits to know: EPUB is a reflowable format and PDF has fixed pages, so the result is a clean, simple book layout, not the publisher’s exact design. Custom fonts and CSS styling are not reproduced, and text is set in standard fonts. Fixed-layout EPUBs (some comics, children’s books and magazines) cannot be converted faithfully. Books with DRM (copy protection), such as many store purchases, are detected and refused: this tool does not remove DRM. Arabic, Hebrew and CJK text is not supported yet.

Only convert books you own or have the right to use. For long books the conversion takes a few seconds while the pages are laid out.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I convert an EPUB to PDF?

Choose your .epub file, select a page size and text size, press Convert to PDF and download the PDF. Each chapter begins on a new page and page numbers can be added. It works in any modern browser on a computer or phone.

Why does my EPUB say it is protected?

Many ebooks bought from online stores use DRM, which locks the file to a specific app or account. This converter does not remove DRM and refuses those files. Books from free sources such as Project Gutenberg, or files you created yourself, normally have no DRM.

Will the PDF look like the ebook on my reader?

Not exactly. EPUB text reflows to fit any screen, while a PDF has fixed pages, so the converter creates a clean standard layout. Publisher fonts and CSS are not copied, and fixed-layout books such as comics do not convert well.

Can I make a large-print PDF from an EPUB?

Yes. Set the text size to 14 pt and the margins to normal or narrow before converting. The text is laid out again at that size, so the PDF has more pages but is easier to read.
